gonna change my power tubes in my dual recto and wonder a few things. must it be matched tubes??? what happens if i switch to unmatched tubes??? what differences are there between thhose color code mesa tubes? which of the colorcode should I have ?

hi check the roadster maual about it. it should nt be any problem to run a 8 ohm cab with that combo

how important is it with matched powertubes in a recto. quartet or pair.single or..... need to switch them..

yeah im happy but im gonna change the tubes soon. which shall I choose. don t like the jj s. mesa boogie tubes(labelled) are hard to get in my town. it is either electro harmonix or ruby ´tubes ??????? or otherwise im gonna order TAD s

Elpelotero!!! I owe you many thanks. you ve helped me alot with tips and tricks!! ....and ill be the first to say"you was right". this is an incredible amp.sounds so smooth and thick and tight.so different to the 3 channels.(you can make them tight too) rock on!!!

bought one yesterday and it arrived today. all I knew that it was a dual recto 2 channel with the small logo on the front and one knob for the serial loop, sounded good so far. nice condition. I packed it up for 30 minutes ago, flightcase was included. went for the red channel...

MYYYY GOOOOD!!!!! it is a mesa boogie dual rectifier 2 channel nr r0355. hopefully it is a rev. d but i dont care. what a sound!!!!!it is amazing. compared to a 3 channel.it is like night and day. i like the 3 channel but this........IM STUNNED

got it!! an 2 channel mesa boogie dual. have not open the package yet but im gonna do it soon and give you all the details.

ok I ve found a 2 channel recto here in sweden and im gonna get it thisi week hopefully. It got one serial loop knob ,small mesa logo and should be an ex from ca 1994. but I think ive to check the super good "boogie archives". lots of info there. thanks all of you.

I would choose any of those except the engl powerball. no mids and very sterile sound.i had one sold it the engl savage sounds better but has not so much bottom end ive got a roadster now and it sounds awesome. i play brutaal metal and it works

yes i understand, that s the reason why I ask!!!!!!!!!!! lots of people talk about a lot of díffrences between the 2 chan vs 3 chan but I don t really understand it. maybe cause I never have played a 2 chan dual. that s the reason why i ASK.there is no sound clips at the boogie archives...
