Hey guys!

Has anyone tried this? I've been wanting to try it with my bassist for his drive sounds....if we hook it up to a cab with high power handling that can handle the extended low end, is there anything to worry about?

Thanks much!

Eric

This is the key. You can run whatever you want through the amp (it may or may not sound good) without problems, but a bass will kill guitar speakers in short order.

here's a question...

i've been running my bass and 400+ through a recto cab. is this just as harmful??

unfortunately my 1516b and my SVT810E don't fit into my car.

there is a female bass player, and for the life of me I cant remember her name or the group she is in, but she uses I believe a triple rec for her drive and she A/B's it with a traditional bass rig for her clean, sometimes has both on, Sorry I cant remember her name.

You are fine with a guitar cab if you do not push it to much. It well sound better with a bass cab. I have used my Mark IV lots of times with a bass and bass cab. It works great. :?:
