I had a cool idea the other day..... I rehearse in a basement/garage on a concrete floor and suddenly realized I have yet to play on a wooden stage! I have a C90 4x12 (recto cab), a V30 4x12 (recto cab) and soon a X configuration of both C90 and V30 (recto slant) 4x12...I also have a rect 2x12 horizontal loaded with those EVF's I was trying to sell... nice cleans but bright dirty tone

what do some of you like on a resonating wood floor? I would love to hear your thoughts

To me the wood stages reverberate the low end a lot better. I take the casters off of my cabs and let them sit flush on the floor, so that the bass transfers better. I can definitely tell a difference when doing that. There doesn't seem to be as much sound transference on concrete, and you don't "feel" the low end like you do on a wooden stage. Hope that makes sense.

I have two Recto straight 4x12's with V30/C90's in X patterns. I run each head into it's own 4x12.
Sounds massive and the tones from the power tubes and speakers blend really well.
