Will I be happy?

I have a chance to get a Quad preamp and a 50/50 poweramp, I have a studio pre right now, but I think I would have to sell my Mark IV head.......do you think I will be happy with a Quad + Studio Pre + 50/50 over a Mark IV A head?

Do you really think you will need a Studio and a Quad Pre? Sell the Studio, save some more cash, and keep the Mark IV.

I was hoping that in return i'd get the same tone, or even closer tone to the mark IIC+ more versatiltiy , a rack and some money in my pocket,

I think the IV will get you much closer to the C+ tone than the studio or Quad, especially if it's a 50/50 being used with the pres.

haha, best advice ever! I was so close to picking one up , two times .. but the guy had it in a store on consignment and he was going to give it away to me for 1000$CDN , the mark IIC+ head.. so he went to the store to pick it up and they sold it the day he saw my ad!
