wierd fuzz.....

So when I am tuning up (Roadster 2x12) with amp in tuner mute mode, i get this weird fuzz/unwanted noise out of the amp. but once i select tuner mute off and play, no noise.... what gives???? Gibson Les Paul Studio, bty.............
