How's the turn around time been for sending Mark series amps back in to Mesa lately?

I'm going to send my mark IV out tomorrow(from Boston)
my lead channel only has about 1/3 of the volume of my R1/R2 channels, my midgain/harmonics switch isn't doing anything
and when I go from clean to lead channel the pop is so loud that it's basically not usable for gigging.
the caps were done on mine but they were piggy backed on to the other big blue caps so they will also re do those the right way.
I joined a Whitesnake tribute project recently and this amp is killing it for that "1987" and slip of the tongue tone.
I can use my Splawn rig while this is out but I do have gigs lined up for January that I would prefer to use this with.
Anyone have there's one recently? how was the turnaround?
thanks
Nick

You have to contact them first- which I just did- they told me to check back in a month because they’re backed up right now. Good luck

Might check Aztech Electronics in Watertown first, they’re an authorized Mesa shop. They may well be backed up too, I haven’t been there since the lockdown.

I use Aztech all the time he's great over there but he doesn't want to touch the caps ,s o I figured just send it back to Mesa for a total overhaul.

it took over a week to get mine and initially they didn't even want to take it, really backed up I guess
Yea they told me to call back in a month and they will see if they can take it- I brought my mkIV to Andy Fuchs- but the markIIB needs the effects loop mod which Andy didn’t seem familiar with so I’m waiting for Mike

Talked to Mesa on Friday , my Mark IV has been there fort 6 weeks , Pete says it's going to be on the 8 week end, they are swamped. :(

Oh wow! This makes me kind of nervous. I sent in my Mark I reissue several weeks back for repairs. I was also told 6-8 weeks. I probably should have stayed local for repairs. As far as RA numbers go, I didn't hear back from my online request either. I had to call after not hearing back after a week. I guess Rich is no longer with Mesa. There used to be a time that I would hit "submit" on my RA request and my phone would ring in about 5 minutes with Mesa on the other end of the line.

ya Rich is gone :(
I've been dealing with someone named Kris, very responsive so far, so at least that's a plus , but I've got gigs coming up soon and I was hoping
to get this into the rotation :)

Yeah, hopefully it won't take too much longer. I was hoping that my Mark I reissue would be finished soon so I could send in my original 70's Mark I. If their past reliability / durability is any indication, I may never have to have them serviced again in my lifetime. I'm pretty sure Mike changes the boost circuit on the older Mark series amps due to the push / pull pot failing at some point and there being no replacements. I'm not sure that I'd trust anyone other than Mike B. with these amps.

10 weeks and still waiting :( I don't want to call them and be a pest :(
the waiting is starting to get to me I have some gigs coming up in a few weeks and really wanted this amp available.

That sucks. I just checked today, and my amp arrived on 12/11 so, I'm only at about 4 weeks. I know Mike has been backed up for a LONG time. There was a time when I would ship my amps to Mesa Boogie for service and the turn around with shipping both ways were slightly over 3 weeks.

I hope we don't run Mike B. into the ground.
