I have not even tried the clean channel on my IIC+'s

The punishment for that is 5 strikes across the back of your picking hand, with a 12 inch wooden ruler.

Dude! And I backed you up! :)

I eventually will... I just can't turn away from the feel of the lead channel.

If you have a Simul-class model, turn the Volume 1 to its maximum and flip the switch to 15 watts. Find yourself a single coil type guitar, and let the rhythm channel sing, loud and proud. Then you will truly understand my quote. 8) I sometimes feel like Pat Morita in "Karate Kid" that said "paint the fence." :D

Ok, I just did this and I have to say, it only helps GTS' defense. Best clean tone I've personally experienced.

... and honestly, I only changed the channel and not the settings, even on Volume 1 (left it at 8 after trying it at 10). Both sounded phenomenal.

You can't search the data, as there is nothing to search.

whoa, that sucks.

so, what can be done about it?

it's too much good stuff, just to blow it into oblivion.

I've shot a couple of PM's to Ned asking him about restoring GTS's post history. I haven't gotten any responses, but I'm still hoping that he will restore them when he gets time to read my PM's. The Boogie Board community will be very grateful if he does.

NED knows how important gts and his contributions to the board were to all of us. We don't want to bombard ned and irritate him with a thousand PM's. The ball is in gts' court now. It may be best to put this subject to bed, move forward, and hope gts decides to return.

so does this mean that all that wealth of information that GTS put out there, is gone?

mongo: I've shot a couple of PM's to Ned asking him about restoring GTS's post history.
