i own a iib, and when my buddy bought his iic+, we compared.
honestly, there wasn't that much difference.
surely not enough for me to warrant immediately selling my 2 year old boogie to get a iic+ !
even he agreed, the differences were minor.
and ultimately, all that matters is how you use it.
if it were me, and i had 4 grand to burn, i could think of a dozen amplifiers i'd go for, none of them includes the IIc+.
that said, i'm glad folks that have the IIc+ models love them so much, i think boogies are great! that's why i've held onto mine for so long.
but personally, i think folks are drinking coolaid about the 'unreachable unfathomable abilities' of the IIc+ to create the ULTIMATE tone.
honestly, i think these folks dropped so much coin on these models, they HAVE to convince themselves that the money was worth it.
does the IIc+ make them a better player?
that's really more important than unmeasurable 'intangibles' that separate the different amps and models from each other.
now,
all that said, what's any of that got to do with GTS getting canned?
i still have not read a thing, that would warrant it.
of all the folks who belong to this forum, and have contributed, i can't think of a single one with more positive reinforcement and involvement than GTS.
where is the wealth of information that he left on the board?
where did it all go?
WTF?
