Larry Carlton and Robin Ford unplugged live in France.
This is a brilliant album. Tasty licks and lots of sympatico between the two. These two fit together like puzzle pieces. The rhythm section is pretty hot without ever getting in the way.
Well I'm still listening to Robben Ford and Larry Carlton.
Larry Carlton is an inspiration in that he has to be older than even me and yet he is still playing that acoustic guitar like his fingers are made of titanium.
This is a very rich record for a live acoustic performance. There is a ton to learn about melody, harmony and stuff in this record that will keep me going all this year.
Respect for Robben Ford has gone up a couple of notches as well. Gunna learn one of his songs.
I have recently been listening to this Canadian progmetal band called Pomegranate Tiger. It is pretty awesome. Also I am listening to the new Satriani album.
