I've decided to go ahead and just look for a Mark IV Head or Rackmount, and sell my Dual Recto later.

Are the heads/rackmounts going for more than the combos?

$1849 for head, $1949 for combo. They're pretty rare to find new at the moment. Ebay has been a little dry. Might want to check the harmonycentral.com forums. When you can find them used the prices range from $900-$1400 for either. Good luck!

Check craigslist, I found quite a few across the country during my search.

I've found a few things on there for pretty cheap.

And just check Ebay every day.

Watch several and you might get a steal.

I just picked up a 2001 head on ebay last week for $1475 with a footswitch cables and an ATA case. Not the best deal I've seen, but I wanted one bad enough to pay that much for it.

In the month or so I've been scouring ebay for one, it seems like there is almost always at least one head for sale if you are not picky about it being an a or b version. If you set up searches on ebay make sure to include all the funky spellings possible such as "Mark 4", "Mark IV" "Mk IV" "Mk 4" etc....
