Hiall,
I'm quite new to Boogies and got my first one this week. I changed the power tubes and a few noisy preamp tubes on my Studio .22 (nonplus) and its absolutely a great sounding little amp. Couple of questions though.. Is the reverb rather weak by design or is the fact that one of the springs is shot. Here's a pic of the spring:

If it is the spring is it possiple to fix it or should I get another unit? If I have to get a replacement what would the product number?
Cheers,

I've got the same problem with my DC-3. One of the reverb springs is broken so I removed it. The reverb is weak, but it acts almost like a tone control, as I turn up the reverb it cuts a lot of the treble and gives it a darker tone. I actually like it as I'm not a big reverb guy anyway.

My 50 caliber has a chassis-mounted reverb "tank". One of the springs was damaged, so I removed it (cut it off with wire cutters) and the 'verb still sounds pretty good...

My 22+ has an outboard reverb tank. The http://www.tubesandmore.com number is P-R8AB2A1B

You can use a 3 spring long tank. The one that comes in the Mark series amps works fine. I put one in a Studio I had a few years ago. I added a couple of RCA jacks to the under side of the chassis and got a tank, bag and cables from Mesa. I mounted the bag to the bottom of the cabinet. I hooked up the tank and it worked far better than the stock tank.
