Can I use a 25k volume pedal to tap volume at this SLAVE/LINE point on an original boogie. I know I can do it in a true loop ... but these are just tap points for Mk1 pre-amp to other amps & using the Mk1 power amp for another preamp.

So ... if it can be done, what do you plug where?

Also, Boogie manual is pretty clear that once you tap this signal, you will get feedback if you try to reintroduce it. That makes me think that you might tap off the pre-amp and shunt to ground rather than plug the return into the amp. So maybe some sort of grounded plug in the "out" of the volume pedal.

Thoughts?

Here's the back of the amp:

The volume pedal trick works with the Mark IIB thru the effects loop.
This does not work after the effects loop mod is done to the Mark IIB.

The slave is for driving another amp.

I may be 100% wrong but as far as I know the IIB is the only Mark series amp that allows for the volume pedal trick.
