voltage convert for MarkV

hey guys

just want to hear your suggestion ....
i'm from Thailand and my problem is the price of MarkV from our dealer is too high
i've calculated MarkV in US price + vat + shipping to Thailand ... it's cheaper

so question is do you recommend the voltage convert (by the best amp tech here)
does it effect to the sound ??
i've heard many opinions for voltage convert they are all different

I don't know what your voltage is in Thailand, but here in the UK we have 240v and lots of people buy American amps and run them through step down transformers. They are very reliable, it is just one more bit of gear you have to lug around with you.

and i already got stepdown for option
