Vert 2x12 vs Old 2x12

Hey!
I've came across the need for a bigger cab, I didn't want to buy a 412 as it is so difficult to carry. And was thinking of a 212 vert.
Now i have this old metal grille 212 for a sweet price. With Black Shadow bottom v30 up (it might be the other way round). The tolex is a but screwed but it is working just fine.
What is the difference between this cab and the newer one 212 vert? Are the dimensions the same? One is top open and thiele bottom and the new one is completely closed back with both v30s...

Any ideas??

Old 2x12: separated top/bottom, bottom is ported, speakers are front mounted. Can close the top open half of cab, but usually they are open.

New 2x12: rear mounted speakers, one chamber, no ported bottom.

Grab the older one... better cab in my opinion.
