Hi guys, I don't post here much but I need your help as I recently broke the pot on my Mark III purple stripe head.

The pot is the MIDDLE pot, push/pull (R2 on). Now looking at the Schematic I found on the tubefreak website (apparently that schematic isn't 100% correct?) It looks like a 10k value pot? Can anyone confirm this please? I need to order a new pot from Mesa and I want to make sure it's the right value!

The pot snapped at the shaft where the knob goes on while I was loading it into my car. I've done this before with the Bass knob on the same amp and have replaced it successfully. I don't know why Mesa use push/pull pots with plastic shafts, it seems like an accident waiting to happen. I'm going to be more careful with my gear in future :)

It's a 10K linear taper potentiometer. Audio and Log (Logarithmic) are the same thing. The Mesa schematic is not completely right, or readable for that matter, but it'll get you there. There's a thread here with a link to a better schematic if you want.
