My buddy just got back a V Twin I found for him online. The Version 2. He had sent it to Mesa for the now obligatory Blues/Solo volume mod. I tested it, and to get it basicly balanced, I had to turn the adjustment pot to its absolute min setting. hehhhe Anyways, it would be nice if Mesa as well allowed you to set gain seperately for the Blues and Solo channels..... instead of the 1 Gain knob for both channels. As is it is workable.... but it sure would have been nice. I wonder if this is a moddable thing? Thx.

Yes, it is. If you look at the schematic, R26 (100K) sets the gain cut from Solo to Blues, so replacing that with a trimmer or pot (say 220K, which would give you range both above and below the current setting) would allow you to change the gain in Blues relative to Solo, although the overall setting in both Blues and Solo would still be set by the main gain knob as normal.

I don't know where R26 is on the board, sorry! And I'm not going to open up mine to look because it's such a total pain :).
