Urgent Dual Rectifier tone help...lead and rhythm?..

HI to all RECTO Lovers

Any one would help me? I couldnt get the tones that I want... any voluntary help would be appreciated.. thank you.

looking for Emppu Vuorinen (nightwish) guitar tone...
I am more close to get the rhythm tone.. but lead tone is far away...

Oh yeah, the "Sleeping Sun" solo tone....that one´s epic.
Emppu used Engl amps back then.....
I have some Lead tones in my Triaxis that could easily match the ones your looking for, all done with Ld1 Red (Dual Recto Vintage)....

IIRC his amp´s gain isn´t dialed that high and he has uses some Boss stomp before the amp to "juice" and boost his leads. Try with your OD808 once you have it

any preset suggestion? for both lead and rtyhm?... I am not sure w?th the engl by the way...

I couldnt find the boss stomp that he use... and dont think he is using metal zone with recto as boost... may be there is hidden think...

That guys tone sounds very Recto-ish. Just saying.

As for your lead tone, ditch that Marshall cab with the 75's. That will get you most of the way there. Get ANY cab with Vintage 30's like a Mesa 2x12 or 4x12.

For the lead tone you should try Bass @ 1:00ish, Mids at 12:00 and Treble at 12:00 and use the neck pickup. Gain around 2:00. Presence to taste, but not too high.

still got some questions with the rhythm tone...

couldnt set the amp to right preset to get that palm muted tight ritm tone.. sounds too mudy although mids and bass scooped.. treb set to 1 clock.. (not to much..)... any suggestions?

websites claims that he is using modded MT-2...

should I still go for MT-2? or OD9 will do my concerns...?
