trying to switch the bias switch on my triple rec to EL-34..

So I put some EL34L's in, and now I need to switch the bias switch to EL-34...but...I feel like a complete idiot but I can't figure out how the switch works? I can't move it left or right or anything; am I supposed to take that part off and is there a switch underneath it?

I'm really confused and I'm getting mad because everywhere I read it should just be a switch and I don't think there's supposed to be some trick to it...

Greetings ! There is a cover on the bias switch that is basically like a bad *** pice of tape. You can remove that and then slide the switch to el34. It's rather strange if you have not done it before. I ended up throwing the "cover" away after awhile but it will stick back on ( at least mine did) after removing it.
