I invite you all to describe the modifications done to your Triaxis in order to make it sound better or simply different from factory defaults. If you are willing to share your modifications within Triaxis comunity, please include the following data:

- Hardware version, Serial no. & Tubes used
- Short rig description
- Description of modification (electrical, electronical, or any other)
- Description of results (how does it sound after?)
- Documentation, if available (links to other pages or files)

My Modifications
- Triaxis V2.0 with phat mode, #7211, Tung Sol reissued
- Music Man JP6 Piezo Guitar > Triaxis > Sansamp Para Driver > G-Major > 20/20 > Fireface 800 Audio Card > 2 x 12 Recto Cab
- I reversed the phat mode from board TX4 to Vintage Rectifier in Lead 1 Red, following instructions taken from another forum post. I removed a few resistors and capacitors and put others of different values in place.
- Description of results and Documentation HERE

I love the tones out of my Triaxis but hate the noise level going into my 2:90. The noise level coming out of the Record Out renders it useless. Any one have a mod to address this. Simple retubing?

I did the opamp in IC3. I put in the Burr Brown 2604. It's a warmer sound, and you don't have to worry about cliping it.

@leadfootdriver: What channels/modes are affected by IC3 change?? Please give more details.

There's been some big threads on this. It's always in the signal path. The opamp is used to drive the dynamic voice if I remember correctly. I haven't been around in a while, but managed to come up with these links.
