Hi all,
Many of you know that we routinely sell review equipment that we've purchased at MusicPlayers.com. In this case, our senior guitar editor Derek is going to part with his like-new Tremoverb. No, it's not a review unit, but we all baby our gear, and his is no exception.
Dual Recto Tremoverb Series I (power cord permanently attached). It is from 1995, and has the matching Tremoverb 4x12 cabinet. This is the extra tall cabinet. Gear is black with black/gold grill covering. The amp has very little use -- much less than you'd think for an amp this old. For those of you who know this amp inside and out, the six known faulty resistors just went bad and were replaced this past spring, and the head has new tubes.
The amp could pass for new, though it was used for a handful of big-venue gigs.
$1,600 for the half stack, or $2,100 with road cases for the head AND cabinet.
He will NOT sell the head separately at this time unless someone offers to buy the cabinet first (he has a waiting list of head-only requests, so don't bother for now)... he has too many 412 cabinets . You can reach him directly at [email protected] or you can talk to me.
The amp is in northern NJ, prefer local pickup in the NY tri-state area.
We just used it for a lot of his recording on our band's upcoming CD. You can hear this half-stack on the left-side rhythm and guitar solo in the song "Lighters" at http://www.myspace.com/daysbeforetomorrow (melodic progressive rock).
