Studio .22 noise on rhythm channel

First post!
Had some weakness in my 22.. Replaced the filter caps and things got a lot better. Bounce is back in and amp is smooth!
Not a big issue, and the amp always hisses-I understand, but when I change into 'boogie mode' the amp gets dead quiet and sounds great.
Any ideas why it may not be as quiet in rhythm mode?
