Hey guys first post here. I gotta say this forum is pretty bad ass! I've found a lot of useful info already. One question for everybody, how long does it take Mesa to build an amp? I ordered my Mini Rec April 26th and it still hasn't come in yet. I know it takes time for such good quality but a month? It's not a custom build or anything special just a regular Mini Rec. Any experiences ordering brand new from the factory? I think more than anything I'm just really anxious to get it!

They build them as fast as they can. You are in a queue and when they finish building the amps for the people that order before you then they will build yours and ship it. Just be patient. Good things come to those who wait...

Congrats on your purchase. I don't own the Mini but have had the pleasure of playing it and can say that it's a fun amp to play.

I enjoy the tone of Mesa amps, but it's that customer service that keeps me coming back. Don't be afraid to call them and check on things.

I am curious as to why you might have ordered straight from the factory as opposed to ordering from an authorized online store who has the Mini Rectifiers in stock.

What happened was the local music store that I bought it from had one in stock just a few days before my tax return check came in. Check came in and I finally got a day off from work, went to buy and naturally they sold it! So I went ahead and ordered it from the local guys because they were about $100 cheaper than anywhere online. Saving that $100 and then the other $100 they knocked off the Mini Recto 1x12 cab allowed me to get a new guitar case and an Electro Harmonix Holy Grail to go with the Mini Rec. Last I heard, it went into the final stage of production on May 9th and that was a week ago. Guy at the music store said it should pretty much be any day now. Fingers crossed for this week!
