That's really cool how you obtain your Fenders.

Here's a pic of my 70' he made starting with just the chassis.
Was the faceplace changed to a "Black Face"? Because usually a 70' Fender is the CBS Silver Face.

Ok now it's my turn. This is my first experience with Mesa stuff so I hope it is rewarding. Here's just the stuff I have with me:

Triaxis V2 non phat
Mesa 20/20 deep modded
Peavey Tubefex
Peavey Rockmaster
Peavey midipro midi switcher
Peavey 212mc vertical 212 slant cab (1 celestion gk85 and 1 em gov)
Behringer Vamp2
Epiphone Valve Jr head
and I just ordered a behringer FCB to control it all with.

Yea RR the faceplate was changed. I really wanted to have a Blackface modded PR really bad. He found the 70' chassis on e-bay and made the whole amp around it.The Silver faceplate wouldn't have looked good with the exterior color scheme of the amp.

1965 Gretsch 6161T
1994 Sovtek MiG60
wooden cab (sapele,&maple baffle/back) w/celstion g12h80 and fane medusa30

sold the sovtek and gretsch for a peavey Triple XXX 112 combo :)

also I got a '65 packard bell stereo ($35) with a nice power amp (think Amperex tubes) and 12" speakers, too (they might even be alnico) I just may build it into my wooden cabinet , but the stereo cabinet is solid maple and maple-ply (Golly, they sure built things to last back then)

there should be no need for a preamp, I'll just do a line out from my XXX!

My current collection consists of:

'82 Mesa Mark IIB Coliseum
'92 2ch Mesa Dual Rectifier
'65 Fender Tremolux
50w Ceriatone Overtone Special
Vox AC4TV

But there is an even longer list of things that I traded/sold.

Rivera S120
Marshal 40C
I run them simul via the Tera Echo boss pedal.

very very authoritative tones (I also use TS808 maxon OD)

This is finally a rig that I'm happy enough with that has at least temporarily killed all amp GAS (the rivera has waaaaay more bass on tap than the marshall so the mix is very ghetto).

With Mesa's i end up spending too much time tweaking the damn knobs...

DC3 head

Right now I'm at 3 amps:

Mesa F-100
Mesa DC-2
Fender Prosonic

I've gone thru way too many over the last 4-5 years to get here..........

All I got is a el cheapo Jay Turser PGA 10-T amp since I'm learning electric guitar(bet I can't do distortion with it)

Here's mine... mix of amps and preamps.

Mesa Quad pre
Mesa 2:50 poweramp
Mesa Rectoverb
Carvin Quad-X pre
Rocktron Piranha pre
SansAmp PSA1 pre
Marshall JCM 800 2ch 100W Lead Series combo (original, bought in 1986)
Peavey JSX head

Now looking for a Roadster head. If I get it, the Rectoverb is going. Just bought a 2x12 Rectifier cab that I want to marry to a Roadster.

I need to take a photo of my 'family' and post.....

I'm probably forgetting a few .... I need to get it down to a few good amps and that's it!

Only Mesa I have right now is a Heartbreaker head. Love it.
Others are Peavey Windsor head (one trick pony, but it's a *good* trick), Pignose G60VR (great combo amp, built tough) and a Pignose G40V (just had to have one when they came out - damned loud sucker!).

Just sold two old Peavey Deuce VT combos - used but not used up!

New user, hello everyone! I have two amps currently - and I find them to cover the tonal bases I'm into perfectly.

Fuchs ODS 50 mod - Dumble variant, dare I say improvement? Reverb, and built in Dumbleator (buffered loop with series/parallel options, additional Master too.) Awesome with my reggae band and sounds great even in the hot rod deluxe combo shell it's currently in...
Mesa/Boogie Express 5:25+ head - Got this yesterday (have extensive experience playing one though) and it's exceeding my expectations beautifully. Sometimes the ODS is too loud for the house and the MB on the 5 watt mode is just so bouncy and groovy sounding without waking the rest of the family. I'm back at home getting my MBA so the 5:25+ will be a great addition for late night practice sessions. On the burn channel, I was able to get similar ODS tones and that just made the whole maiden voyage at home experience killer!

I use both amps through an EVM12L and Emi RW&B 1x12 cabs, and I have a Weber California kicking around that gets used sometimes.

I have no idea how I'm just getting here, but here goes!

- Mesa/Boogie Tremoverb Combo (late 90s/2000)
- Mesa/Boogie Road King II Combo (2012)
- Fender Blues Junior III (2010)
- Marshall MG30DFX (don't know when I got it, don't really use it for anything)
- Marshall MS-2 (I actually love this thing, it's quite handy, actually)

That's currently it. I'd love an Electra-Dyne, Mark V, or a Friedman BF-100, but I just don't really need them, and I'm pretty much happy with what I've got. I could use a 4x12, though.

I recently downsized to just two: a VOX Valvetronix VT80+ and a Marshall MG10cd.

I'm currently waiting for something to clear Probate, and then I'll be adding a Peavey Vypyr Pro and a MESA/Boogie Mark V head w/ a vertical Rectifier standard slant cab.

Crikey...where do you keep all this gear!

I'm probably forgetting a few .... I need to get it down to a few good amps and that's it!

Mesa Mark IV head - might be for sale soon; kinda like a first serious girlfriend. :(
Mesa C+ head - the royal mistress, never to be sold, but will be bequethed to Boogiebabies!
Mesa DC-3 head, recently acquired, and the best amp purchase in years, my new #1. Like a third marriage, I plan on keeping her 'til the sun sets...
Mesa TA-30 head - just "kicked out of bed" by the DC-3, and returned to dealer for refund. We just weren't right for one another; too much bickering!
Laney Cub 12R combo - 15 watt (2 EL84s, switchable down to 1 watt) grab-n-go. Very underrated little amp for $399 new. My favorite waitress who I overtip!
Orange Dual Terror head - My "rebound relationship" after the Electra-Dyne divorce/disappointment. Loyal, she helped me through a tough time and I just can't bring myself to break her heart. Also kicked out-of-bed by DC-3 (homewrecker!). Will either be sold, kept for gig back-up, or on "indefinite loan" to my buddy's studio.
Peavey Bandit 65 combo with 12" Scorpion speaker - restored my faith in solid-state amps, and a great back-up amp for gigs or grab-n-go when more oomph is required. In great condition for $99 with cover and foot switch! Best amp purchase in years UNTIL the DC-3. Like a good stripper or favorite porn, an adequate substitute for the Real Thing.

The harum will be thinned, leaving the C+, DC-3, Laney and Peavey: a good cross-section of amp types and power ratings. I can't see needing more than those plus a few speaker cabs. Maybe a Lonestar......
