Single Recto Retubed with JJ ECC83S

I just re-tubed my single recto with JJ ECC 83S in position V1 & V2.

Wow.. the sound is amazing and also tighten up the bottom.

Do you think I should re-tubed Pos V5 as well with the JJ ECC 83S to balance up? Or leave it with the original mesa 12AX7 Chinese 1?

V-1 is the first gain stage and does the most work and will have the greatest effect on the tone. Try moving the JJ in V-2 to V-5. That might smooth it out even more. If your looking for justification for filling the other slots, you can always use what's in there as back ups.
