Audio shmootz that is .
MK III . Red stripe combo , any volume level .
The sound is a fuzzy hiss/almost a frying noise , that follows the notes that is especially noticable when playing clean . Turn the 'verb down and its gone .
I pulled the chassis and tank , polished the plugs and jacks untll they shined , inspected the innards , sprayed the pot . Replaced the tube . No dice .
I want it to go away . Its getting me somewhat perturbed .
Its funny , but with the reverb wires plugged in reversed , the noise is present when I turn up the pot , it just dosn't follow the notes . Hmmmmm.
suggestion's ?

Hi, I've also had a problem with reverb on my Mk 1V.

Reverb levels of 3 and above induce hum (as well as the reverb signal) and yet I've swapped tubes, cables, tanks even ! All to no avail.

Finally spoke with a Boogie tech here in the UK and suggested a service.
Said it could be a smoothing capacitor.

Try a different reverb tank if you have one available. Sounds like the tiny connecting wires to the transducers in the tank are nearly broken. This happens to most all reverb pans eventually; mostly from being shaken (not stirred) while moving the amp around.

ground good did that furst ....Muntz ago
:) Could be the tank. Or the lone current limiting device .

Could be wurst .
