possibly this has been covered before. Does anyone have a copy of the export schematic for Mark V power transformer. I have a US model which obviously needs to be converted which is quite possible but without the schematic is considerably less possible.! Has anyone successfully done this? and could offer any advice? any engineers in South UK who are capable of doing this without melting this rather expensive amp... I don't know why these companies make things so difficult...

Yup already been there ty. It's not a mark V unfortunately but it's certainly the closest I've found. He's also a helpful guy. Apart from this the Internet appears to not hold an export/uk conversion schematic/guide

If you have a genuine Mesa transformer it's just a matter of matching the colours up. Plus not sure if you guys fuse active or neutral in UK but I had to swap mine over here in Australia for legal reasons.

I do believe it is slightly more complicated than that. Varistors, fuses small components etc have to be added and changed. Dangerous advice to say it's a straight swap and match.

Which other amps use the same rectifier valve? Cos that's about all you need to match
Power going into the transformer is going to be 240v on the UK version. Power coming out will be something like 290v/0/290v. That's what the thing does, transforms input power to what the amplifier needs. So everything after the on switch is geared up for the amp.

Take it to Champ Electronics in Nottingham. John will do right by you.
