hey aart, belgie hier ...

you should check out the radial bigshot aby, from what i have heard they are in the same league quality-wise as the lehle but they are a whole lot less expensive ... they also have a higher price range model: the radial switchbone, it comes with a clean boost.

what band do you play in?

For the money the Radial Bigshot is an awesome value, from what I remember it doesn't have an LED or any indication which amp is on/off...

I just slaved one amp to the other, or looped via my eventide stombox to amp A and sent a output signal to the return loop jack in amp B.

this way amp A controlled the other in the switching.

Can you still do that with two eventides stomp boxes cabled together?

While we on the topic, any box that can send one guitar to 2 or more amps or 2 or more guitars into one amp? and doesn't alter the input's tone. thx. BTW the Lehle are expensive.
As I stated earlier in this thread, "I use the Voodoo Labs Amp Selector, it's efficient, quiet, and versatile

Ah, ne Belg!

Sounds allright, where can I get a radial bigshot in Europe?

I'm not in a band anymore (temporary bedroomrocker). I'm mostly recording stuff now and I hope to start up a new project soon.

depends on the imput impedance of the bigshot.

I own the Lehle and highly recommend it.

edit:

Read post #7 of this thread written by Burkhard:

Lehle is Burkhard's company; he builds the pedals. Give him a call.

just wanna throw another "little-helper" in here.

check out the palmer guitar-splitter!
http://www.thomann.de/de/palmer_ybox_guitar_splitter.htm
simple but works perfect.
one input, two outputs and the most important thing: one of the outputs is isolated, so you wil not get any hum caused by groundloops.

and trust me, you will get hum without any isolation method.

Allright, I have the following options:

Lehle Little Dual - Passive?
Palmer Y-Box - Active
Radial Bigshot A/B/Y - Passive?

if you wanna have the switching option, go for the radial.
haven´t tested it myself, but seems to be a good pedal for that price.

lehle in fact designs very good quality pedals, but you´ll have to pay for this.

the palmer y-guitar-splitter is the cheapest way to get the signal-splitt - but no switching option. so both amps would always be on. (take two volumepedals between the palmer an the amps an you can fade in the amps as you want it)

it depends on what you wanna do and how much money you wanna spent for this "little-helper".

I want use 2 or 3 guitars and 2 amps. One amp clean, the other dirty. So when I switch guitar, it would be using the same amp set up. According to the manual, guitar b can't be routed to amp 1/2. Is that right?
"If you are going to use two guitars (or the other channel of stereo
effects) simultaneously with different amps, you can connect the
2nd guitar into Amp Selector Input-B. If you do this, the Input-A
instrument will only access amps 1 and 2, and the Input-B instrument
will only access amps 3 and 4."

The Palmer is somewhat more expensive than the Radial at Beyers so I think I'm going with the radial since it seems to get good reviews. Plus it has a tuner out and more switching options.

The lehle is twice as much as the radial so that one is out. It's going to be the radial if nobody gives me a good reason not to.

buy it, check it out and if you don´t like it, you can send it back within 14 days.
so go for it. i would do so, if i were you.

I've got the Radial A/B/Y, and it works great, and there is no signal drop. I've used it with my TR and Marshall 1959, and a Vox AC30 and a DSL 401. Great pedal!!
