Running Mark IV With Mark III

So I picked up a Mark III Blue Stripe combo yesterday and I would like to run it stereo with my Mark IV. How would I go about that. Do I run it out of the satellite in the back of the Mark IV to the return of the FX loop on the mark III? Or do I run it through my Xpression stereo? Any input would be appreciated.

gtr>IV input ->FX send->xpression

xpression left->IV return
xpression right->III return

and i guess you'll have to leave the loop on all the time.

you can also split ahead of the preamps with a stereo pedal or ABY box and plug into the normal guitar in's on each amp. It'll sound really fat with the different preamp character of each amp involved, but it only works if you don't do channel switching.
