I want to run my mesa studio pre amp and my mark 3 pre amp into the power amp of my mark 3 apart from a mesa amp switcher is there any easy alternatives (hard to get hold of a mesa amp switcher)
thanks

Do you want to use them both at the same time, or toggle between them? Or do both?

Well, anyway, there are very many ways you could do this.

If you don't use the loop of your Mark III, the most cost-effective solution would be to:

Get a good quality buffer to split your guitar signal and run it to each preamp input, then run the Studio Pre output into the effects return of your Mark III.

Now, switching the loop in and out would in essence switch between the two preamp outputs;
When the loop is in, the signal in the return jack will break the current signal path, thus patching the Studio Pre to the Mark III's power section. When the loop is hard-bypassed, the Mark III preamp section will be patched to the power section internally.
