Hey All,

I am about to pick up a used Roadster head. Anyone know anything about if there were any revisions or service bulletins on the early ones?

The one I am looking at is S/N VR-00003X

I thought I remember reading something about the first 500 of these that came out had something that needed to be brought in for service for a replacement.

Either way, if sounone in the Know could shed some light on any version history, that would be great!

Thanks in advance.

Yes there was a service bulliten for the early Roadsters. It involves changing out a couple minor components in the power supply and can easily be performed by a mesa tech who would have the proper info.

do you know where it would be possible to find this bulletin?
I have a roadster head and would like to know if it's one of those, even though it was bought new last year so it should most definitely not be one of the first ones

If it was bought from a mesa dealer that also services them, they may have already performed the upgrade as well. Its only a matter of soldering in a resistor or something, i have the bulletin at work somewhere. Never had it done on my combo #616. Maybe thats why i had some issues with it. Hmmm.
