Reverb on DC-3 kind of bright,

Hey guys just picked up a DC-3 combo, and love the tone, I'm wondering, the verb seems pretty bright and trebbly even with tube swaps. I'm wondering what the stock reverb pan is for these amps and whether or not changing the pan would maybe darken and fatten the reverb at all?

Try experimenting with different preamp tubes in the reverb position. After trying 12AX7s, 5751s, and 12AU7s, I ended up settling on a NOS 12AT7.

Thanks, is it inherently a brighter circuit? Do you know if changing the pan would darken the verb a bit? Thanks
