recto 4x12 halfback?

has anyone tried to turn a 4x12 recto into a half-back cabinet? i've got one that i'm keeping standard, and my cousin is selling me his so i figured i'd experiment w/ that one. different speakers, half back etc.

also, i played a LSS on monday, and freakin hell, that thing is great. i like the LSC clean better though.

because its a horribly overpriced cab that you cant take full advantage of unless you actually own a roadking.

well, i'm getting the second one for only $300, so that's why i'm willing to experiment.

Lemme know what it sounds like. I was thinking about cutting up a piece for my cab back and experimenting, but haven't gotten around to it. Also I've heard that Mesa uses 16-ply baltic birch plywood, not exactly available at Home Depot, but crutial to sound. Good Luck!
