Are the threads regarding the "R2 Volume Pot Mod" applicable to a Mark III - Black Stripe? I'd like to know before opening her up! Thanks!

So to do this mod I would have to order a 250K Audio Taper pot (p/n: 591048) and replace my Reverb pot with it? I can't just use the "Direct" out pot?
