Anyone have experience with Groove Tubes 12AX7 Mullards? What do they do to feel and response compared to stock Mesas? More importantly, do they perform well in the Roadster cathode follower slots (V3 and V5 I think)?

I've never tried them, but they are made by New Sensor Corp, same as EH, Sovtek & Tung Sol, which have been known to fail in cathode follower positions (yes, V3 & V5).

If I was you, I would just try one or two in V1 &/or V2 where most if your tone structure is happening. V3 & V5 are designed as drivers/buffers for the tone stack & FX Loop.
