The pedalboard pic is a little out of date...some changes are listed below (*).

Boss OC-2 ->
Boss GE-7* ->
Ernie Ball Jr 25k Volume ->
Chicago Iron Parawah ->
Dunlop UniVibe ->
EHX Small Clone* ->

Preamp ->

Digitech WH-1* ->
Digitech Digidelay ->
Boss DD-20 ->
Boss RV-5 ->

Power amp ->
Hotplates ->
Mesa 4x12 cab ->

I split the effects into stereo with the DD-20, and I'm saving up for a 2x12 cab to use for the wet signal.

I'm in the middle of saving for a Fulltone TTE to replace the DigiDelay, and I'm thinking of adding a Maxon AD-999 for dual delay stuff. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the delay, but I'm in the middle of an all analog phase, so I'll be looking for an analog 'verb of some sort to replace it.

Boss Tuner

1977 Mark I. 100/60 watt, Reverb, EQ, EV12L - Koa/Wicker grill.
Vol 1 @ 6, Vol 2 @ 7 with Pull Bright, Master @ about 2, Treble @ 6, Bass @ 6, Middle @ 7, Presence @ 7 and just a splash or Reverb.

I set the TS-808 for max Drive, Tone at 10:00 the TS-9 is set for 50% Drive, Tone at 10:00. Using the two at the same time gets a nice vintage type overdrive with mucho sustain. And individually they give me two different shades of overdrive.

Mr. Cry Baby because it is a volume and wah. Saves real estate on the board. Only used for a couple songs any way like the Chorus and Trem.

Works great, sounds great. We play private events and have to cover from Santana to Sinatra. Plenty of tones and plenty of volume. I add the Thiele box with the EV12L for outdoor events.

ScreaminDaisy-

Why the 2:100 over a 2:50 or 20/20?

Ned

I had a 50/50 before...it sounded great but it didn't sound "correct" when paired with the Recto Preamp. The 2:90 and 2:100 both have a modern mode that can be triggered by the preamp...which is what the 50/50 lacked.

Are you looking at those two? If so, I'd recommend the older 50/50 as it sounds great and it has a 15w low power mode....which to me is a 2:50 and 20/20 all rolled into one.

I wouldn't mind picking another 50/50 up myself (or failing that, a 20/20). Some styles of music I play involve a lot of "warmed up" clean and "on the verge" OD type stuff and I wouldn't mind having the option for getting that level of OD at a lower volume. It's not like loosing the modern mode will impact on my ability to play with that type of tone.

On second though....the 50/50 was heavy and 2 units high.....maybe I'll look at the 20/20, 'cause I'd like to leave it mounted in the same rack as my 2:100.

Thinking of either the 20/20 or the 50/50. I prefer E tubes versus 6 tubes and the 1U size the of the 20/20 is attractive as well. Just got to find one for the right price.
