Why can't you admit that the only reason you started this new "vote" topic, is because you have absolutely nothing else going on? You knew I would respond... I have a reason to be one here... What's yours? You're trading "barbs" with someone you don't even know for Christ's sake! By my estimation - you're (all of you except for SW) a f%&# loser. Who spends that much time on an internet forum who has no vested interest in the subject. Don't you have a girlfriend? Are you married? What does your wife think about the amount of time you spend on the internet? If you have kids - they're obviously well taken care of... Are you a drunk or something? I've seen the thread-counts, and I just cannot imagine anyone spending that much time on the internet?! It's baffling to say the least... :? My guess is, is that you just tool around all night - just looking to get into some kind of sh!t with someone... Who the f%&# knows?
I know! Why don't you take up an instrument? Say - guitar, or maybe drums? That would at least give you something better to do with your time. Just an idea...
Hi pot, meet kettle!

there's only 1 ******* hear buddy...im not involved in any of this but have read all the threads..you have some distorted sense of reality, get your sh!t together man christ.
You really need to see my last post... It may help you with your problem?

lol dude, you have more time then anyone..you write fucking essays on here...im in a band that gigs 3-4 times a month, have a girlfriend and clearly am a more likable person then you..why don't you back up what you're saying by getting the **** out of here, and living your life??

I don't think TGD should necessarily be banned; this is a forum to express opinions, after all.
But, having said that, this last set of his is a dead topic now.

Constant harping about it without having the guts to either work it out with the seller or pursue his claim in a legal and proper manner is a sure sign of immaturity. Not to mention a lack of good judgment.

If he thinks he got ripped off, he should take legal action…and be **** well ready to prove his case. And be man enough to take his lumps, should the courts rule against him.

Other than that, only a child would continue to drag this out like this.

While there may be some entertainment to all this, it is clearly time for him to put up or shut up.

And if it’s entertainment he’s after, how about “People’s Court” or “Judge Judy”? Then we can all see it and have a good laugh!

And he probably won’t like this post, either….big deal; his opinion is now officially worthless as far as me and most of us are concerned.

Banned?

Not needed; just ignore him.
He may as well walk away with whatever dignity he can still scrape up. 8)

Take care.

Well said, at this point any response is just feeding the troll.

This is most bizarre... I've never seen anything like it! The guy blatantly f%&# me over on a sale, and the majority of the members on this forum defend him? Oh! and as soon as someone agrees with me - the thread disappears?
I think people assume that TBB is a professionally run, non-partisan forum... It's anything but!
After this experience - I will never purchase anything from a BB member... No way! I hold a 464 100% positive "power-seller" rating... But I'm the lying ******* here?
1. Unless you're a chick, thats not your ebay account.
2. I think it's been proven that the ot is the correct replacement for that amp. So you lose, move on.
3. Your childish behavior is a mix between bipolarism and that of a violent alcoholic. That is why nobody here would piss in your mouth if your teeth were on fire.
4. You're just butt-hurt that you didn't have the brains to research the part numbers like the people you were trying to sell the amp to.
5. This whole thing is so trivial to a mature adult and that is the reason we cannot stand to read your posts any further. Its a stupid little electronics part. Life will go on. Instead of spending stupid ammounts of money buying, shipping, and returning all these amps maybe you should play them. Or deal with someone locally.

How many users did TGD create on this board?

can you honestly tell me you think its acceptable ebay selling practice to omit the mention of a fact such as a transformer change to a vintage amp ?

forget thegaindeli..... how would YOU feel if you bought a vintage amp for $2300 say a 1968 marshall plexi and a month after even though the amp sounded great you found out the output transformer was swapped out and it wasnt mentioned in the listing you bought it from

what are going to do when it comes to the situation that you may want to sell the amp on and you now know its not fully original

are you going to mention it in the listing and affect the resell price or just not mention it

I know the majority of members here are very honest people and would be horrified if they even accidentally misled a buyer in a deal let alone intentionally

yet this guy sold a MkIIc+ knowing full well the ot was swapped and for whatever reason he failed to mention it... and its been brushed aside.... like its nothing , its not its wrong...

It should of been mentioned it will AFFECT THE VALUE OF THE AMP...
If I were only interested in selling it off a day after I got it then I would have done the intelligent thing and had all the major part numbers. I am interested in PLAYING my guitar and could care less about resale value so I spend money based on what my fingers and ears tell me. If I have buyers remorse then it's my own **** fault. ALL SALES FINAL! :p You are only making a fool of yourself by admitting that you are such an idiot as to not "look under the hood" before you bought it. Anyone else who bought that amp would still be playing it, not on here crying like a little girl.
BTW, poll count now shows 16 a-holes.

There's not much more to say. The bottom line is the amp was sent to TGD exactly as it was described in the auction. That's the end of the story. If he wants to pursue any legal action from there, the law is very black and white. There's no shades of grey like on an internet forum. They will look at the auction as it's written, look at the technical data I have that shows it's exactly as I described it, and then I will file for a counter suit to recover court costs and then some.

the seller had to be put on the spot repeatedly on rigtalk until he would even admit the to ot being swapped he was very evasive ...why because he knew it would weaken his position in the way other people view the situation

I didn't avoid anything. I told you to read the thread here at TBB because your question was already answered and I wasn't going to keep rehashing the same thing over and over. I'm not going to chase down trolls like a bounty hunter on 876786 different forums and keep typing the same thing over and over. I just refered people here where the data already was.

Thats complete bullshit ...

Im not iterested in the poll...

You realize TGD made comments earlier badmouthing you too, right? He said:

By his description, he's including you in there. Looks to my like he's calling you a tool, a loser, etc...along with everyone else. There's only two possibilities...either you think he's a hypocrit that has a double standard for those that agree with them or he's calling you a tool and loser with that comment above. It's one or the other.

I'm sorry, are you calling him a hypocrit that changes his story and opinion based on whether people agree with him or not, or is he calling you a tool and complete loser?

You can't fix stupid I suppose, so trying to explain to you that the amp is exactly as it was described in the auction is pointless. The amp is a 100/60 IIC+ that was converted, loaded with everything proper as stated in the auction. End of story, I won't say it again.

druckpig said:
is the output transformer in the amp the original transformer , yes or no..

Yes, it is the original transformer that Mike B put it in when it was converted. Is it the original that shipped with the amp? It can't be, unless you want an improper transformer.

Are the tubes original? Are all of the knobs original? Are the caps original? Are all the resistors original? Etc...Why would you care about one single detail of the amp and not pay any attention and inquire about ALL the others if originality is your concern?

Sure, your logic makes no sense. If you are concerned about the originality of parts:

A) Why did you buy an amp that you knew had been modified at Boogie?
B) Why are you focusing your attention on one part instead of ALL the parts that could possibly be replacements, like caps, resistors, etc?

I do not know every part that has been changed in that amp. No one does, so it's impossible to list it all. What I know is what it currently has, which is what's important because that is what a person is actually buying. That's what I listed, that's what it had, and that's the truth.

Umm, yeah...it's an upgraded IIC+...that does involve part changes.

anyway, please bring it to court. It'll be right there with your admissions of lies, threats, etc.

No Jr. - it's a Mark IIC Simi that's been converted to a 60/100 via a major component change! Oh! And it's been MODIFIED to a C+. No C+ PCB was installed into it!

You just don't get it.
