Peavey Super 6's

We own a 1983 Peavey Roadmaster 160 watt head that's great for clean work. I Haven't had the back off in a LONG while.. I pulled it off and found the peavey original "super 6's" were clear top, dual bottom getter tubes... Who made them and why have I never seen them before??
