No build date on a MKIV widebody head?

So, I picked up a head and it is really clean inside and out ( Thanks Dre ), However there is no indication of a date anywhere inside or out. Is this odd? I thought each pc. that left the factory was dated. Guess I'll call Mesa. It's not an issue, I am just curious.

If you simply pulled the chassis from its box you might find the build date and builders initials written in various places inside.

Mine does.

Some of us do and I guess some of us don't.

Thats just it, I pulled the chassis, there was nothing anywhere. I called Mesa last night, shipped 10/04.
