First I started with the 57 Reissue which I got about a month ago. I loaded it with new CTS 500 pots, Hovland caps, and Seymour Duncan Alnico II pickups which will hold me over until my Wolfetone Dr. Vintage arrives. Just got the Lone Star 2 days ago. So far I like what I hear. Can't wait to put those Dr. Vs in. :D

This must be why the Mark IV is leaving. I would say that is a nice rig even without the Mark IV. My only suggestion is to put those pickguard screws in the bag/box with it.

PRSKILLER take pics of your equipment in WAIMEA or any other beach, pleeeeeeeeeeease

Actually, that might not be a bad pic with the background across the Bay. A cool solo pose with the blowhole over by Hanauma Bay in the background exploding would be cool too. Actually Hanauma Bay is pretty picturesque too.

The Mark IV has left. The pickguard is going back on as soon as I get my Dr. Vintage pickups so that is why I left the screws there.

Someday I'll get rig pics at the beach. :D

Man, you guys and the Goldtops. I have wanted a Goldtop forever.

For a long time I never gave goldtops a second look. I've always wanted a Historic Reissue Les Paul and the goldtop with darkback started to look really killer and fit the bill just right. So I sold my McNaught SC and bought it. The McNaught was and is a fine guitar. I just prefer a Les Paul.

Oh man, I'm soooo jealous of your Goldtop PRSKiller!! Looks great! I specifically love the 57 historics too!

They are the most affordable in the Historic line. If you look you can find used ones under 2K.

yeah I have to agree with yas on the price.... but I played it today like a naked guy in the mirror singin into a brush lol

I love the goldtop, Ill even leave the pick guard on!!
