I have recently bought a used Mark IV with the C90 speaker. I have searched thru the internet and know that many people say the old EVM-12L sound better.
I will purchase a EV12L soon since the price is not too high. However, does anyone know whether the speaker mountings are the same? Does the cabinet needed to be modified? So far I only know that the C90 uses 4 mounting screws while the EVM uses 8, the celestion is rear mount while the EVM is front mounted. Are the screw hole pitches the same?
