Mod Studio Pre to have switchable efx loop?

I love my Studio Pre but I don't like having the signal still pass through my effects when I have the effects unit on bypass. I'd prefer to just have the signal bypass the effects loop entirely. My Rivera has a switchable effects loop, which is awesome, and I'm wondering if it would be feasible to mod the Studio Pre to have the effects loop be switchable as well. Anybody know?

The axess GRX4 can do what you want and there's always 3 function switchers left (for your preamp channels switching...) (again you need midi control but like this you could change the channels and others function in your preamp by a midi footswitch even if the effect processor is bypassed):

That's a good point actually...I was aware of the loop switching devices from Tonebone etc. but I didn't think about the fact that I could use them in the way I want. I wish I didn't have to run send/return cables from my pedals all the way up to my rack, but I guess if I want true bypass bad enough, that's what it'll take.
