Edward,

Out of curiosity, what sort of music do you play?

Rock, pop, anything blues-based, and contemp Worship ...pretty much anything but no metal, shred, or country. It depends largely on who I'm playing with (which varies, and what makes the DC5 so amazing IMHO as it has such a wide tonal palatte), but you get the idea. Did I mention I love this amp??

I have to totally agree with Edward. I just bought his DC-10 and it's easily the best Mesa I have owned....I was worried when i traded my Express for his DC-10,but he was right on.The GEQ makes a huge difference. I play Metal,Rock,Blues,Jazz,Fusion and Country and it can do them all. The clean channel is a bonus. Call me crazy, but I hear some Recto. You have to cut the mids and bass and do the V with the GEQ. Anyway the DC Rocks!!

I'm mostly a blues/rock/metal guy and it's nice to see that there are others using the DC5 for metal too.

I am not really that into the recto sound, and some mark sounds tend to be a little dated. I guess that makes the DC5/10 a good choice... something unique for metal, eh?
