Lately when I switch to lead it seems like there is a volume loss in the lead channel. Its not terrible but u can defiantly tell that it doesn't drive as hard or something b/c when I switch to lead my amp just gets lost in the mix, this never used to happen. I have had the original tubes (pre & power) in it since i bought the amp new about 2 yrs. ago. any ideas guys? Thanks alot

I would try swapping out the preamp tubes that affects channel 3 1st.
V3 is the 1st gain stage. It also affects the Reverb return.
V4 is the 2nd gain stage. It also affects the Reverb send.

Swap them out 1 at a time with a tube that you know is working well. Don't just assume that it works becuase it's new.

Then, try V1, V2, & finally V5.

If none of this helps, then I would swap out the power tubes. You can swap them in pairs, Inner and Outer.
Just make sure you don't put the wrong power tube in the wrong socket.

Hope this helps.

As soon as I get a chance to get up to the store and buy some tubes I will try replacing them and tell the board what happens. Thanks for the replies guys!
