I ordered the new Tech 21 Liverpool which provides a way to get some of the Vox ASC30 sounds.
Obviously there is a 'problem' when you have a modeling pedal going into an amp that has it's own signature sound. I have heard that there is a way to run the guitar into the modeling pedal and then output the pedal into the effects return, which is supposed to help remove the pre-amp signature from the 'host' amplifier.
Has anyone tried this with the Mark IV, and if so what were were settings on the Fx section switches? Which if any, functions of the Mark IV are removed? What was the result in terms of sound quality?
Thanks for the insights.
