I know it’s not that big a deal but I picked up a 2x12 rectifier cabinet today my Mark IV guts have been in a combo for years, so I put the guts back into the headshell fired up the head and even without EQ-ing OOOOO- nice. Just love that closed back sound. I do have a 4x12 in storage but it can be difficult to deal with, plus hard in an apartment. 2x12 no problem easy to carry up and down stairs and great sound.
My Mark has changed a bit also this year, cap job, new tubes. I was using Mesa with the 6L6-EL34 combination now.

Very happy and just wanted to share!

I really really really really wish Mesa will come out with a Mark IV-C or Mark V using the Roadster/Stiletto closed-back combo configuration.

With reverb and solo on the footswitch...

Until then, I will keep carrying my cab and MIDI rig with it
