I just bought my used Mark III simul class and noticed that there were 6L6's in the outer sockets and EL34's in the center sockets. Is this the correct tube placement? Also, how do I switch between all 3 channels? What does the front footswitch jack control and what does the rear/underneath R2 jack control? Please explain because the manual does not cover this. Thank you.

Which manual have you been reading???? The last page of this one answers your questions, with a drawing. 8)
