So I found a blue stripe long head Mark III...one of my dream amps!
But it had an encounter with a technician who really loves adjustable bias. He never really "got" Mesa's fixed bias/selected matched tube pairs thing.
So it is my task to restore the bias circuit to factory stock.
It'd be very helpful to get some gut shots that will help me to take out the added junk and restore this to original.
There's an added bias pot on the back panel and most of the changes are close to that back panel. I've sent off a message to Mesa, hoping that they might have an original back panel still in stock. Since it's not a part that would be expected to be asked for very often, I'm hopeful.
