Hey,

I realize nearly everybody will have differing opinions on this but...

For a 60 watt IIC with GEQ. SG chassis, would having the ++ mod hurt the value as compared to just asking Mike B. Do the + mod. In this case, nothing will be sacrificed (no reverb), and the ++ could be switchable so the extra db of gain is available on tap when needed.

Thanks for any input!

Scott

I saw one where Mike put part of the extra boost circuit on pull mid pot.
It was not foot switchable though.
The part of the mod that adds 6dB of boost to the clean is not switchable,
but it does not hurt either the clean tone or lead drive tone. To my ears
it just makes it a bit more beefy. As for value, the amp can be de-modded
in a few minutes.
