I know I never understood the denial. It's not like the it was a picture of a counter top cold fusion generator or anything. It's just the next logical step and has been expected for years.

I'm more intersted in the union jack and chopper. I'd love to see the Mesa folks do more with EL-84 tubes. The chopper sounds like the next step in the Road King/Roadster line...maybe a 3 channel that takes channels 1, 2 and 3 from the Roadster? Or perhaps a 2 channel with Lone Star cleans and a modern Recto channel?

Well this trademark thing is definitely a step in the right direction towards an actual Mark V/5 being released, but sometimes companies trademark names as a just in case or perhaps a way for them to sell the trademark later on to make money. However, I am feeling pretty excited/giddy about this at the moment!!!!

I'd guess the Chopper would be a stripped down Roadster. Edit: I'd love a single or dual channel high gainer with 5 or 6 six modes (recto and mark flavors).

I guess so. Probably a two-channel, or maybe three. Maybe it'll even replace some of the current Rectifier models.. I never understood why there are so many in the first place, really. A two-channel Chopper, four-channel Roadster and the Road King would basically make that line complete. Especially if they incorporate the new multi-watt switching into the new model, making it able to handle different wattage and maybe even number of rectifier tubes. (eg. like the single-recto being 50 watt, and the Dual being 100)
