I’ve been active on this board for around 20 years. I’ve owned almost every amp Mesa has made over that time, but never a Rectifier. That changed last week with the arrival of a ‘98 Tremoverb. She’s got a few issues, but I’m hoping the seller and I can come to terms.

The core tone is like nothing else I have. I can’t say it will become my #1, but man, I’ve been having a ton of fun with it.

Does anyone know if Boogie is still a good option for repairs? I haven’t worked with them since the Gibson buyout.

Couldn't tell you if they're still the go to, I'd assume so since it seems many of the same people are there. If Mike B is still there I'd be sending it there. My 98 tremoverb head needed a couple caps and a one LDR after 23 years of use. Was much cheaper than my local techs, and I only shipped them the chassis with no tubes. Mike fixed it up and it sounds better than ever (sent it in 2021)Made myself a plexiglass/polycarb little cover for the exposed side of the chassis for shipping. Worked a treat.
